My father is a Member of the Northern Arapaho Nation and my mother of the Southern Arapaho Nation of Oklahoma. I am an enrolled full-blood member of the Northern Arapaho Nation of the Wind River Reservation. I presently reside in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have three children; the youngest has picked up the craft of doll making.

I graduated from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico with a degree in two-dimensional art in printmaking. After graduating I made a huge change from two-dimensional art to doll making, which has become my passion. Doll making has been a self-taught form of art for the past twenty years. My beadwork skills come from my mother. She was a teacher of her own crafts, if you will, as well an educated teacher. The traditional aspect of designing my dolls comes from the spirit within, as well as my father's strict up bringing. In the Arapaho way, everything has to have a meaning or it is idle, without a cause in life. My father was also the first teacher of Indian Culture Studies at Wyoming Indian High School. This course received accreditation and became part of the high school’s curriculum. My father also published his own book called, Sky People.

I design a lot of my dolls from looking at old photographs of our grandparents and great grandparents. To make sure the attire is accurate, my dolls are all made with buckskin that is brain tanned and smoked in the traditional way. Some of the other materials I use are various sizes of beads, sea shells, abalone, otter fur, real hair, metal weapons, raw hide, feathers hand painted by me, sinew, and bone beads. My dolls are all made accurately according to historic era and tradition.

All dolls are hand crafted and designed by me. I accept custom orders. I am available to do workshops and lectures about the history of my dolls, and stories that have been passed on to me.
